Hotel bookings on the eve of the national exam have tripled

According to data from Tongcheng Travel, one hour before the opening of the printing channel for the national civil service examination admission ticket, the search popularity for related hotels began to rise. By one hour after the admission ticket was printed, the booking volume of related hotels increased by three times compared to the same period on weekdays. Data shows that the order volume of "National Examination House" on the first day increased by 184% year-on-year, with cities such as Beijing, Nanjing, and Wuhan ranking in the top ten in terms of order volume. Candidates are more inclined to book hotels that are close, clean, and quiet to the exam site. The proportion of mid to high end hotel bookings has increased by about 10%, and economy hotels are still the most favored by candidates. Nearly 70% of candidates choose to book convenient, comfortable, or economy hotels for less than 300 yuan. In addition, the number of candidates who choose to take temporary breaks in hourly rooms increased by over 210% year-on-year. The demand for hotel services such as wake-up calls and breakfast is gradually increasing among candidates.
